Scholarships Offered

The Women in Mining Idaho Chapter seeks scholarship candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to pursuing an education leading to a degree related to the mining industry. Eligible fields of study include, but are not limited to, mining, geology, engineering, environmental studies, or any other discipline that contributes to or supports the mining industry. Applicants must be at least a high school senior or currently enrolled full-time in college. Scholarship funds may be applied toward tuition and/or course-related expenses, as selected by the recipient.

The scholarship application opens in January, and winners are announced in April. Through this program, Women in Mining Idaho proudly supports students who are working toward careers that promote the advancement and responsible development of the mining industry.
